CARRIE (1976) was highly regarded as one of the best Stephen King's horror movie adaptations ever made. Now BOYS DON'T CRY director Kimberly Peirce is in talks to direct CARRIE remake. Peirce is definitely an inspired choice for the remake. After all, she did very well in BOYS DON'T CRY which won Hilary Swank her first Oscar as the troubled female teenager disguised as a boy.
