In recent times there was a buzz that Richa Gangopadhyay will sizzle in a special item song in the Hindi remake of Vikramarkudu film which is titled as Rowdy Rathore in the direction of Prabhu Deva.Finally Richa thrashed out the rumours by saying, “I only prefer performance oriented roles along with balanced glamour and I'm least interested in doing item numbers.Prabhu Deva did not approach me till date and I haven't signed any song in Rowdy Rathore.”
Richa Gangopadhyay says “In fact I haven't even met Prabhu Deva till date and don’t know how such rumors spread around.”Richa is playing lead role in Bengali remake of Vikramarkudu with Prosenjith.
